What is it?

GuardTools® is an off-the-shelf customisable, IT-based operational support system, tailored for Security Guarding Companies/ Manned Guarding Companies, aiming to streamline and ensure the quality of their operational core business. GuardTools® coordinates the work flow between Supervisors and Static Guards, Mobile Patrols and the Security Guarding Company´s End Client.

The GuardTools® Operational Support System Consists of Three Applications

GuardTools® Office

GuardToolsIs a PC application for the operational Static Guards and Supervisors (in the office, other fixed locations and at the Alarm Recieving Centres).

GuardTools® Mobile

Is an application for use in a rugged mobile computer for the Mobile Patrols.

GuardTools® Web

A web portal for the Security Guarding Company´s End Client.

GuardTools® Supports the Following Operational Flow Through the Three Applications

A common Mobile Patrol scenario would be the following...

PLEASE NOTE: GuardTools® also support Alarm Response scenarios and Security Officers at Staic Sites among other things.

Flow
The Supervisor enters INFORMATION for a new Client and creates a new Client profile in GuardTools Office. The Supervisor creates one or more patrols for the Client, and links these to the contracts. The Supervisor then adds instructions, tasks (barcodes and checkpoints), client contact information etc, in GuardTools Office. Thereafter, a PLANNING of both the individual patrols and the related areas and sites is made, in order to generate efficient run sheets.

Next, each Mobile Patrol Officer collects a mobile computer and downloads and starts his/her work shift in GuardTools Mobile. The Mobile Patrol Officer then follow the run sheet in GuardTools Mobile, which contains all the patrols to be CARRIED OUT. The Mobile Patrol Officer heads towards the first site, and then starts the patrol. The Mobile Patrol Officer then performs all the tasks specified in the patrol, supported by both instructions and a checklist in GuardTools Mobile. The Mobile Patrol Officer also enters one or more patrol reports directly in GuardTools Mobile (the software on the mobile computer) to report incidents and/or any potential risks. After completed all the patrols, the Mobile Patrol Officer finishes the work shift, and all information is uploaded to a central database.

When the work shift is completed, and any additional information recorded, summaries with patrol reports are automatically sent out to all customer contacts, providing a FOLLOW-UP of the tasks performed. The End Client can then enter the web portal - GuardTools Web, to review the reports, completed tastks and statistics for his/her sites.
